How do I install the Sage 50 2022 Accounting Program?

We will discuss two ways to install the new Sage 50 2022 version.

1.) You have the Sage 50 2021 program and want to update it to Sage 50 2022.

If you are on the latest version of Sage 50 2021 and you just need the latest update, you can simply follow the instructions below:

Go to the SERVER machine and Open Sage 50,
Go to the SERVICES tab in the top menu bar of Sage 50 2021
Click on Check for updates
Sage 50 online update > check now.
Updates appear. If you are ENTITLED you may download the update. If not entitled, you can download the update, but you don’t have a serial number for the new program. If you were entitled and downloaded the update, close Sage 50 2021.
Now run the update when it pops up. Since you are entitled the NEW 2022 serial number will automatically populate into the wizard at the appropriate time. Make sure you read the screens and follow all instructions for the smoothest update.

2.You are new to Sage 50 or you missed a couple of downloads.
