If you have an older system, you must locate your original download. It will be on your old computer. Go to Sage >Peachtree> Company > Updates (if you took the default installation)
Or look in your download file. It is an application file. Sage does not keep older versions of Sage 50 on their computer. It is wise to store your downloads (original and all applicable Service Releases) for Sage 50 on your own DVD.

Once you have installed Sage 50 on your new computer. Restart the computer.
Installing on a standalone computer
Once installed, open Sage 50. Do not open a company file.
Go to File Tab > Restore and browse for the back up file of your company data. Open this as a NEW company. Follow the wizard to complete the process.
Installing on a network
If it is a NEW computer in the network, follow the network instructions included in the Sage 50 Installation Instructions
