As of July 1, 2020, Act! Pro software is no longer being sold. Act! software had a long run with the Pro software platform. This platform was a non-subscription, one-time purchase of a particular version of the software.  Although Act! Pro is no longer being sold, end users will still have functionality of the software. The software industry has moved into a subscription purchase model for the past decade and for the past 5 years, Act! entered a transitional period where they offered both perpetual and subscription software. With the retirement of Act! Pro, they have now fully transitioned Act! software into a subscription offering.

Even though Act! has made this transition, you can still retain a perpetual license of your subscription software at the cost of 2.5x your current subscription rate if you do not wish to continue renewing your services annually.  If you choose to unsubscribe & get a perpetual license, you would still have access to your Act! software. You would no longer receive updates, receive support for the software, add additional users or access to the API technology features used in Act!. (Act! insights, Act! Connect, Act! Companion, & Act! Marketing Automation) without an active Act! subscription.

Moving forward, there are two subscription platforms Act! offers:

Act! CRM includes: Starts at $360/user/year

  • Act! CRM – Always be able to update to the latest version of ACT! —   Stay compatible with the latest Business Tools like Windows 10, Office 365, etc. because you will have access to the latest version of Act! available.
  • Act! Tech Support Team – If you ever get stuck, you have a support plan to Act! Tech support team for tech support or ‘how to’ help. You have an option to purchase an upgrade for your support to a higher level.
  • Act! Companion – The Mobile App for Act! to get database and calendar notifications and view contacts, history, and calendar from your mobile device.
  • Act! Connect View – Leverage “outside-of-the-box” capabilities with the power to extend Act!. Integrate with hundreds of other Business Apps on Zapier integration platform.
  • Act Insights Dashboard– Interactive graphical business insights dashboard to measure key performance indicators & pipeline view.
  • Deployment of the database is a Local Installment (Desktop)
  • More to come – Act! is continually advancing their platform with features to benefit users.

Growth Suite includes all from above plus:  Sales & Marketing Tool:  Starts at $600/user/year
