From a Glen Dale Basement to One of North America’s Leading Sage 50 Resellers
Recognizing a critical lack of certified Peachtree consultants in the 1990s, Shirley Byard set out to deliver real, personalized accounting support. She founded Best Business Strategies in 2005 out of her Glen Dale basement, earning the 2008 Sage Rising Star Award through relentless dedication to client success.
In 2010, the business grew into a true family partnership when Shirley’s son, Allen Byard, joined the firm, becoming the only Certified Act! Consultant in West Virginia. Over two decades after starting in that Glen Dale basement, Best Business Strategies has evolved into a premier consultancy. With our five-member team and thousands of clients supported across 45+ countries, our mission remains unchanged: delivering practical solutions, expert guidance, and personal service every step of the way.
