    SQL Server Edition Recommendations

    SQL Express limits processor use to a single CPU but allowing multiple cores, memory used by SQL to 1 GB, and the size of your data file to 10GB. For this reason, we recommend SQL Standard for any deployment over 20 users or 5 GB in size, allowing for growth. Individual performance may vary based on actual database size, hardware variations, and product usage.

    When can a customer add or remove users?

    A customer can add users at any time during their subscription. At this time, users may only be added over the phone. A customer can remove users at any time (over the phone) as well, but no refunds will be provided and the customer will not see a change in their statement until nest billing cycle (nest monthly statement if monthly, next annual statement if annual)


    What is the cancellation policy?

    Customers can cancel monthly or annual services at any time, but please note there are no refunds for partial service. Access to Act! will be revoked immediately upon cancellation.

    What happens to the customer's data if they cancel?

    If cancelled, access to Act! (for all users) will be turned off. For Act! Premium: Customer will be able to access their database through SQL server management tools. For Act! Premium Cloud: Please contact us within 60 days to retrieve a copy of the database.

    Can a customer migrate from Act! Cloud Essentials to Act! Premium or Act! Premium Cloud?

    No, not at this time

    Can a customer have some users on Act! Cloud Essentials, some on Act! Premium, and some on Act! Premium Cloud?

    Yes-but the databases are not shared between products
