Sage 50 Accounting US Password Tips

User IDs and passwords are case sensitive. When opening your Peachtree Accounting company, make sure you type the user ID and password exactly as it is set up in the user record in Maintain Users. For example, Password, PASSWORD and password are all different. If you are sure you have the correct user ID and password, but Peachtree is not accepting them, make sure your CAPS LOCK key is not activated.

If your password in a prior version of Peachtree Software does not fit into the user ID or password field in the new release, type the first 9 characters of your password into the fields and click OK.

In the unfortunate event that you lose or forget your user IDs or passwords and you cannot open your Sage 50. Our Peachtree Accounting Password Recovery Service will enable you to access your Peachtree / Sage 50 accounting software and gain control of your business.

The Password Recovery Service requires a signed Letter of Consent from a legally authorized user and a full current backup of your Sage 50 / Peachtree Company. Sage has changed the way passwords are stored. You can no longer locate the password name, you must change the password for entry into the program. Our recovery process is to get you back into your program. To do this, we will actually change the administrative password, and return your company file back to you with no other changes made.

We understand that your time is valuable. Please keep in mind that, for the protection of your data, the Password Recovery Service is a structured process. We must receive all of the requested information before we can begin the recovery procedures.

To crack or bust your password, we will need three things from you.

1) We will need to know your build number to confirm we are able to perform the service. In Sage 50, click on the Help tab, then click on “About Sage 50 Accounting”.

2)Your completed “Consent Form” Click Here For Consent Form

3) Your CURRENT company backup where we are actually changing the password.

Only after we have your payment, the release signed by the owner to crack the password and the software build will we download your backup and crack the password. To get the build, open Sage 50 > go to the Help tab > About Sage 50 or Peachtree. The build is located there.

Once we have all of the above, we will make arrangements with you to get your most recent backup. We will quickly change your password and get your file back to you in approximately three hours during normal business hours of 9AM – 5PM. Monday – Friday.
